Cinecittà World in Rome: Tickets, Opening Hours and How to Get to the Movie Theme Park
Cinecittà World is a theme park devoted to cinema and television, in Castel Romano, south of Rome. According to the official website it has around forty attractions, roller coasters, themed sets and six shows a day. Do not confuse it with the Cinecittà studio tour, which is a museum and working film set: this is a full day at a theme park for families and thrill-seekers. In 2026 the fixed-date ticket costs €29 (adult) and €24 (child up to 140 cm); the open-date ticket costs €39 and €30. Prices and the calendar change every season: confirm them on cinecittaworld.it.
Highlights

The thrill rides
The park has roller coasters for teenagers and adults, including Inferno, a ride in the dark. Every ride has height restrictions: check them before queuing with young children.

Shows and entertainment
The park schedules six shows a day according to its website, with characters and acts inspired by the movies. Note the show times on the park map as soon as you arrive and plan your day around them.
The Haunted Theatre
The park promotes this attraction; it is aimed at visitors who like a good scare.
Halloween
In October 2026 the park is decorated with a horror house, a children's village (Goosebumps) and special shows; "Halloween Nights" take place on 31 October and 1 November. Reconfirm the programme in later years.

Tips
- The fixed-date ticket is the cheapest: pick it if your day is settled, and keep the open-date ticket if you want to decide according to the weather. A 2026 season pass is sold at €69 (excluding 31 October and 31 December): only worth considering if you come back several times. Resellers also list an entry "from 3 p.m." at €20 and free entry for children under one metre: these prices come from third-party sites, so check them before buying. The park is outdoors: in summer, bring sunscreen, water and comfortable shoes. Plan for the whole day, travel included. For other family outings, see Rome with children and Luneur Park in EUR, which is smaller and closer to the centre. Prices and hours taken from the official website in October 2026.
