Luneur Park in Rome: opening hours, prices and a visit to the EUR amusement park
Luneur Park is Italy's oldest amusement park: opened in 1953 in the EUR district, south of Rome, it reopened in 2016 after a renovation. It covers more than 60,000 m² beneath a big Ferris wheel with 28 gondolas that overlooks the entrance, and brings together about twenty rides, a summer water area (Splash Zone) and food outlets. It is mainly an outing for families with children aged 3 to 12. The park opens by season, with hours that change according to the calendar: always check the official website before you come. Entrance alone costs about €4.50 and the "unlimited rides" ticket about €23 according to the information found, to be checked on luneurpark.it.
Highlights

The Ferris wheel
With its 28 gondolas, it is visible from the entrance and acts as a landmark in the park; it is the most recognisable ride at Luneur.

Bumper cars and classic rides
The bumper cars, carousels and little trains recall the spirit of the original fairground. Rides are paid in "lunalire", a virtual currency loaded onto the wristband handed out at the entrance: each ride costs 2 to 4 lunalire.
The Splash Zone
In summer, a water area of more than 2,100 m² opens in the morning, around 10 am, while the rides restart in the early afternoon. Bring swimsuits and towels for the children.
Summer evenings
From June to August, the free Luna Village festival fills the evenings from 7 pm with concerts, shows and entertainment. Entrance to these evenings is free; only the rides are paid.

Tips
Park entrance is priced separately from the rides: if your children only go on two or three rides, the rechargeable lunalire wristband costs less than the unlimited pass; if they keep going from ride to ride, do the sums with the day's prices: the unlimited pass then becomes better value. Seasonal periods (Halloween, Carnival, Christmas village) have their own events and hours. Prices and hours were taken from third-party sources and from the Rome city tourism page in October 2026: confirm on the official website before setting out. The park combines well with a walk around EUR: see our guide to the EUR district.
How to get there
Via delle Tre Fontane 100-114, 00144 Rome (EUR). Metro line B to EUR Magliana, EUR Palasport or EUR Fermi, then a walk of about 500 m, or 10 minutes; buses 31, 671, 707, 714, 765, 767, 771, 780 and 787, and lines C7 and C8 at weekends.
