Rainbow MagicLand (MagicLand) near Rome: tickets, hours and how to get there from Termini
Rainbow MagicLand, now simply called MagicLand, is the biggest amusement park in the Rome region. It is in Valmontone, about 40 km east of the capital and 2 km from the A1 motorway exit. People go mostly with family or friends for the thrill rides (roller coasters, a drop tower) and for areas designed for small children. The park is seasonal: in 2026 it opened on 3 April and tickets are valid until 1 November, on the days listed in the opening calendar. The full-price ticket starts at €39.90; the reduced rate (children 90 to 140 cm tall) starts at €29.90. From Rome Termini, the regional train to Valmontone takes about 40 minutes, then a shuttle runs to the park.
Highlights

The entrance and themed areas
The park is split into decorated worlds (adventure, fantasy, Orient, western). From the gate, the monumental façades set the tone; allow a full day to see the attractions.

The thrill rides
The red and blue drop tower, visible from far away, towers over the park, as do the roller coasters, which have a minimum height. The height limit is posted at the entrance of each ride.
Rides for little ones
Many rides are certified for children from 70 or 80 cm tall, as long as an adult goes with them, so the park suits families with young children.
MagicSplash
The neighbouring water park is a separate site: a MagicLand ticket does not get you in, but a combined ticket exists for both parks on the same day.
Tickets and hours
Full price from €39.90, reduced price from €29.90 for children 90 to 140 cm, free under 90 cm; tickets bought online in advance are often cheaper than at the gate. The park opens at 10 am on weekdays, with longer hours on some weekends and holidays: closing time depends on the day. Address: via della Pace, Valmontone.

Tips
- Buy your ticket online before you go and check the opening calendar: the park does not open every day, even in high season. Arrive as early as possible and choose a weekday: on weekends and holidays, queues for the big rides are long. The park is closed from November to early April; for a winter outing in Rome, see our guide Rome with kids. For a smaller park in the city, see Luneur Park; for a cinema-themed park, see Cinecittà World. Prices and dates were taken from ticketing sources in October 2026: confirm on the park's official website before you go.
How to get there
Via della Pace, 00038 Valmontone.
