The Colosseum: guided or ticket only?
The official ticket costs €18, but a guided tour brings what the signs do not explain: the construction, the games, the underground. Our Colosseum tickets comparison details the official options; if you want a guide, the 2h30 small-group tour in the table is the most booked in the city. Check on the activity page whether entry is included.
The Vatican: is the ticket alone enough?
The skip-the-line ticket in the table includes no guide: it saves you the queue. To compare offers with a guide or access before opening, read early access to the Vatican: which offer. The guided tour of St Peter's with the dome complements the museums visit.
